Truck Driver CDL Class A

We are now hiring full-time Solo CDL Drivers in Hagerstown, MD.

Do you have a Class A CDL and an impeccable safety record? Kenwood Transport is immediately hiring Class A CDL - FedEx Ground Truck Drivers! We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to safely and efficiently handle assigned FedEx Ground runs from the Hagerstown area.

Solo Driving Home Daily

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

1. Woodbridge, NJ Dedicated Run

• Approximately 500 miles per night
• Route: Hagerstown, MD > Woodbridge, NJ > Beltsville, MD > Hagerstown, MD
• Consistent and established run
• Includes approximately 1.5 hours of wait time in Woodbridge, NJ while trailers are prepared for departure to Beltsville, MD at 3:00 AM

2. Mixed Run

• Schedule: Friday through Tuesday
• Mix of Woodbridge, NJ runs, Chesterfield, VA runs, and URR runs
• Guaranteed $1,750 per week, even during periods when not dispatched and serving in an on-call.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission and have no restrictions.
• Must possess one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last three years.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record – No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years.
• Must have or be ready to attain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
• Complete Background Check, MVR Screening, login to Clearinghouse, and take a Drug Test.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles (and triples, where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Drop & Hook Only. No-touch Freight!
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g., delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
