We run out of CA to NV, AZ, NV, NM, CO, UT, ID and Midwest Dry & Reefer. Were looking for someone to stay out for two weeks at a time but we can work with you on the scheduling if you'd like to be back home sooner. Volvo Trucks

Duties:

- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including manual transmission and auto, refrigerated trailer 53ft, dry van53ft, and tractor-trailer.
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate routes and schedules.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation.

Skills:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience driving various types of trucks, including manual transmission, refrigerated trailer, roll-off truck, tanker, dump truck, and tractor-trailer.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment for loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and sitting for extended periods.
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and team members.
