Duties

• Safely operate box trucks with manual transmission to deliver goods across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques, maintaining safety protocols at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
• Verify shipment contents, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures as needed to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, lights, tires, and other essential systems to maintain safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck to ensure optimal operation throughout the day
• Follow route plans efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery schedules to maximize productivity

Qualifications

• Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving or courier services
• Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and load & unload procedures
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving cargo regularly
• Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and manual handling techniques
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients
• Comfortable operating box trucks with manual transmission and adhering to safety regulations at all times
• Excellent navigation skills and the ability to follow detailed route instructions effectively

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
