Truck Driver-Receiving Associate

Job Overview
LM Gear Company is seeking an experienced truck driver/receiving associate..

Duties

• Safely operate a company owned 22 foot box truck for deliveries, pick ups, and material transfers.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record and represent the company professionally during deliveries and pick ups.
• Receive raw materials, supplies, and products from vendors and suppliers.
• Unload and weigh incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition of materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Process receipts and inventory transactions using the company's ERP/Warehouse management System (WMS)
• Label, store, and organize materials in designated locations.
• Operate barcode scanners and warehouse equipment to manage inventory management.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Support and assist production, scheduling, planning, and supervisory teams as needed.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Chauffeur Driver's License
• Clean motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years with no major violations.
• Acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Experience operating vehicles equipped with air brakes
• Previous fork lift experience (hi-lo)

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 75 plus pounds repeatedly throughout the work day.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and varying temperature conditions.

Pay: $23.20 per hour
