Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Truck Driver Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. In this vital role, you will lead efforts to attract, evaluate, and onboard qualified truck drivers who are eager to contribute to our transportation operations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to attract qualified truck drivers through various channels including social media, job boards, and industry events.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever or iCIMS to streamline candidate tracking and communication.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates through cold calling, relationship management, and talent pipeline development.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on employment law compliance, contracts, and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Utilize HRIS platforms like Workday, ADP, or PeopleSoft for data management, employee orientation, and employee evaluation documentation.
  • Engage in campus recruitment efforts and participate in industry trade shows to source emerging talent pools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws related to employment and driver regulations to ensure compliance across all recruiting activities.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence candidate decisions positively.
  • Proven experience in technical recruiting, especially within transportation or logistics sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging candidates and internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Lever, iCIMS, or Taleo; experience with Workday or SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations relevant to driver recruitment and employment practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously using tools like Salesforce or Kronos for scheduling and workforce management.
  • Experience in social media management for recruitment campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn or Facebook.
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and talent sourcing strategies.
  • Strong research skills for identifying new talent pools and industry trends.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $8,500.00 per month
