Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Truck Driver Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract qualified truck drivers through various channels including social media, job boards, and industry events.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate screening by reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing technical skills relevant to truck driving roles.
  • Manage the entire hiring process utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever, iCIMS, or Workday to ensure a smooth candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective drivers through cold calling, relationship management, and follow-up communications to generate a robust talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on employment contracts, employee orientation, and compliance with employment & labor law regulations.
  • Utilize HRIS platforms like SAP PeopleSoft or UltiPro for data management, employee evaluations, and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, licensing requirements, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and best practices in driver recruitment.

  • Conduct phone screenings and initial candidate evaluations
  • Manage candidates through the hiring process
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to organize and track applicants
  • Maintain compliance with DOT rules and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting or transportation industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
