Truck Liability Claims Adjuster

The Role: This is a field position is in Cincinnati, OH. You will carry a diary of truck liability, cargo, and general liability claims across Kentucky and Ohio, working directly with carrier clients from first contact through resolution. You will investigate, document, negotiate, and report with minimal supervision. If you need hand-holding on the basics, this is not the right fit.

What You'll Do: Conduct field investigations, including scene assessments, recorded statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses, and coordination with law enforcement and government officials. Analyze coverage, identify issues early, and communicate them clearly to the client. Prepare full captioned reports and reserve recommendations supported by the investigation. Manage your own diary to meet client-specific timelines and reporting requirements. Negotiate settlements with claimants and plaintiff's counsel. Research applicable state statutes and medical terminology as needed.

What We Require: Minimum five years of field adjusting experience in truck liability, cargo, and/or general liability. Prior IA experience is strongly preferred. Kentucky or Ohio primary residence is required. You must hold a valid driver's license and maintain reliable transportation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, digital recording tools, and smartphone documentation is expected. Strong written communication is non-negotiable. Our clients read your reports. They matter.

Compensation & Benefits: Full commission position, $60,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience. Full benefits package including health, dental, life, 401(k) with matching.
