Truck Load Planner

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Truck Load Planner to join our Operations team. In this role, you will coordinate freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery across our network. You will need expertise in transportation planning, logistics, and data analysis. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute transportation plans for truck loads using McLeod (TMS)
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouses, and dispatch teams to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring adherence to delivery windows.
• Utilize GPS tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve overall fleet efficiency.
• Manage freight documentation, data entry, and shipping & receiving records accurately within McLeod.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and your team members
• Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, or service enhancements.

Skills

• Proficiency in McLeod and Samsara.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret GPS data, and other logistical information.
• Knowledge of transportation planning.
• Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette.
• Experience with shipping & receiving procedures in Mcleod or TMS
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently using multi-line phone systems while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
