Duties

• Safely operate your box truck or commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver Amazon freight along designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards and report any issues promptly
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups
• Assist with heavy lifting or moving tasks as required to ensure cargo integrity and timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and load/unload activities for compliance and record-keeping

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or commercial driving roles with a focus on route driving
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks
• Ability to handle heavy lifting, moving loads safely, and operate manual transmission vehicles if applicable
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and operating commercial vehicles
• Experience with box trucks or similar vehicles preferred; familiarity with <PERSON> driver standards is a plus
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety, efficiency, and punctuality
