Truck Unloader

Duties

• Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks.
• ensure correct items are loaded or unloaded
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and mechanical operations, to prevent damage or injury
• Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment contents and documenting all inbound and outbound loads
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate heavy equipment operation and ensure efficient workflow
• This work is a refrigerator environment with temperatures around 35 to 40 degree.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks with proper certification where required
• Strong knowledge of materials handling procedures and safety regulations (OSHA compliance)
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking technology
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic equipment issues and understanding heavy machinery operation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during load & unload tasks
• Prior experience in construction or warehouse supervision is a plus for leadership opportunities

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
