Trucking Assistant Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Duties

• Assist the Supervisor in managing daily operations and workflow.
• Arrive at job and coordinate with Foreman
• Give instructions to drivers at all dump locations
• Keep an accurate log of loads and hours
• Ensure all drivers are being safe on and off the job site
• Job duties are not limited to the above list; additional duties may be added.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role or similar position within the transportation industry is preferred.
• Clean DMV Required (Printout of DMV record will be required)
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Hours will vary depending on the job.
• Will train the right candidate
• High School or equivalent preferred
• Must pass drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,300.00 - $1,400.00 per week
