Trucking Safety

Company Description:

Freightie Inc., a fast-growing and safety-driven logistics company, is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Safety Roadside Service Crew. This team plays a critical role in keeping our drivers, trucks, and freight safe and operational on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

-Monitor and support trucks on the road for real-time safety and performance issues

-Coordinate roadside assistance and breakdown response

-Track truck and trailer locations and status

-Schedule and follow up on preventive maintenance and repairs

-Collect, organize, and update truck, trailer, and driver files

-Assist in DOT and company compliance-related tasks

-Support safety and operations teams with incident reporting and follow-up

-Perform other duties as assigned in support of driver safety and equipment uptime

Qualifications:

-Prior experience in trucking, dispatch, fleet management, or roadside coordination is preferred but will train the right individual

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and effectively

-Tech-savvy: Comfortable with GPS systems, fleet tracking tools, and file management software

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills

-Willingness to work in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 industry environment
