Truckload Lead

Pyramid Group LLC, is the local representation for one of the fastest growing 3PL's in the USA, TForce Worldwide (TFI Worldwide). We specialize in arranging the transportation of general commodities via all modes of transportation within North America and around the world.

The main focus of this position is to support our truckload department. This includes tracking and tracing our shipments, making appointments, and communicating daily with carriers and sales representatives to ensure on time departures/arrivals of freight. You will also provide customer support to both our carriers and customers on a daily basis. Key responsibilities will include:

• Type bills of lading, contact the freight carriers and prepare any additional documentation that the customer requires
• Track shipments, lost or defective parts and work with vendors and accounting to resolve disputes and discrepancies
• Ensure on-time delivery of goods to customers by investigating and resolving detention issues.
• Promote the company’s corporate image in all business interactions
• Provide rate quotes to customers for services
• Provide day-to-day contact with customers on operational issues.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Work under pressure to meet time sensitive requirements
• Work independently
• Previous brokerage experience preferred
• Posses strong verbal and written communication skills
• Display strategic and creative thinking skills
• Foreign language proficiency is required (Spanish)
• Competent office software skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Experience with Load boards, such as DAT, Truckstop, and Get Loaded preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
