Duties

• Prepare ground surfaces by grading, leveling, and compacting soil to ensure optimal turf installation conditions
• Measure and layout turf areas accurately using blueprints, schematics, and site plans
• Install turf using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening
• Perform site inspections to verify quality standards and adherence to project specifications
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assess material needs and assist in project planning
• Handle related tasks such as caulking, trimming, fixture installation, and minor repairs during installation projects
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site work, flooring installation, or landscaping projects with a focus on turf or similar surfaces
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and layout planning for outdoor installations
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trenchers or compactors
• Familiarity with construction estimating and material procurement processes
• Experience with carpentry, trim carpentry, concrete finishing or remodeling is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting and manual labor tasks
