Duties

• Prepare ground surfaces by grading, leveling, and removing debris to ensure optimal turf installation conditions
• Measure and cut turf rolls accurately based on project schematics and site dimensions
• Install turf using hand tools, power tools, and proper techniques to ensure a seamless, natural appearance
• Use construction estimating skills to determine material quantities and project timelines
• Read blueprints, schematics, and site plans to execute installations precisely according to specifications
• Perform site inspections during and after installation to verify quality standards are met
• Assist with related tasks such as caulking seams, trimming edges, and installing fixtures or accessories as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment

Experience

• MUST HAVE Proven experience in construction site work, flooring installation, or landscaping projects with a focus on turf or similar outdoor surfaces
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in turf installation and general construction tasks
• Background in flooring laying, tile setting, or water damage restoration is advantageous
• Experience in carpentry, trim work, cabinet installation, or restoration industry practices enhances your versatility
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
• Previous handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects is a plus
