Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student goals
• Use effective classroom management techniques to create a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment
• Deliver engaging tutoring sessions that incorporate various teaching strategies and learning technologies
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, or program coordinators to support student development and address specific needs
• Facilitate understanding of complex concepts through clear communication and interactive activities
• Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and lesson plans to track progress and inform future sessions

Experience

• Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children or students of varying ages is highly desirable
• Experience managing classroom dynamics and fostering positive relationships with learners
• Knowledge of working with students who have diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of all backgrounds

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
