Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring sessions focused on High School level courses and SAT test preparation including advanced math, reading comprehension, comprehensive writing.
• Utilize innovative learning technology and digital resources to enhance instruction and engagement
• Assess student progress regularly through practice tests and formative assessments, adjusting approaches as needed
• Support course work and homework by helping to relevant course materials and concepts
• Collaborate with students to set achievable goals and track their improvement over time
• Stay current with SAT exam changes and incorporate relevant updates into teaching materials

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching with learners at all levels of k-12 academic progression
• Teaching related degree and/or certification.
• Strong knowledge of academic content areas—particularly reading, comprehension, writing skills, as well as basic and advanced math.
• Knowledge of SAT content and prep process.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools used for online or classroom instruction
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
• Foster an inclusive and motivating learning environment
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
