Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide personalized educational support to students for K-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum development and lesson planning, along with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their understanding of subjects, build confidence, and foster a love for learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge in relevant subjects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive attitude, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customized lesson plans that align with educational standards and student goals.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning.
• Utilize various learning technologies to enhance the tutoring experience.
• Provide support in special education as needed, ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Communicate effectively with team members to discuss progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and motivation.

Skills

• Experience working with children in small group setting environments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
