Hiring NOW: Academic Tutors (Advanced Math & SAT Focus)

We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated tutors with strong expertise in higher-level mathematics and SAT preparation. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy helping students build confidence, master challenging concepts, and achieve measurable academic growth.

Subject Focus:

• High School Mathematics: Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics
• SAT Preparation: Math (calculator & non-calculator), Reading, and Writing
• K–12 Academic Support: Phonics, reading comprehension, writing skills, foundational math, and Pre-SAT preparation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, personalized instruction tailored to each student’s learning style and goals
• Simplify complex concepts into clear, understandable steps
• Support students across K–12 (ages 5–18) in building strong academic foundations
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to ensure continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree)
• Strong mastery of high school-level math subjects (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics)
• Knowledge of SAT content and effective test-taking strategies
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Patient, reliable, and able to communicate concepts clearly and effectively
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Pay: $10.50 - $11.00 per hour
