Pakistan local time:

3:30 PM to 12:30 AM during UK British Summer Time, and
4:30 PM to 1:30 AM during UK winter / GMT.

Applicants must be available for the full shift and should understand that the Pakistan working hours change when the UK clocks change.

Role Overview:

We are hiring a full-time Online Teacher & Tutor to teach UK-based students live online. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, structured lessons in Maths, English and Science, aligned with the British curriculum up to O Level / GCSE standard.

This is a remote working role and requires excellent English communication, strong subject knowledge, professional online teaching skills and a reliable home-working setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach live online lessons to UK-based students using video calls and/or an e-learning platform.
• Prepare clear lesson plans aligned with the British curriculum and each student’s learning needs.
• Teach Maths, English and Science confidently up to O Level / GCSE standard.
• Deliver engaging live video lessons and explain concepts clearly.
• Assign reading, homework, quizzes, tests and projects to support learning and exam preparation.
• Mark work, grade assessments and provide clear written and verbal feedback.
• Identify students who need extra support and provide patient, targeted help.
• Track student progress and maintain professional communication with the teaching team.
• Use online teaching tools professionally and maintain excellent punctuality, attendance and lesson quality.

Essential Requirements

• Must have completed O Levels and A Levels.
• Must hold a university degree, preferably in Education, English, Maths, Science or a related subject.
• Must have exceptional spoken and written English, including clear pronunciation, grammar and presentation skills.
• Must be able to teach Maths, English and Science up to O Level / GCSE standard.
• Strong understanding of the British curriculum, O Level and/or GCSE expectations.
• Strong computer skills and confidence using online teaching platforms.
• Reliable laptop or computer with webcam, microphone and all software needed for online teaching.
• Stable, high-speed internet/Wi-Fi connection suitable for live video teaching.
• Reliable backup electricity arrangements, such as UPS, inverter or generator, to manage load shedding.
• Backup device and/or backup internet option in case of technical issues.
• Quiet, professional home-working environment suitable for teaching students online.
• Ability to commit to the full-time evening/night shift in Pakistan time throughout the year.

Preferred Experience

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience, especially with O Level, GCSE or British curriculum students.
• Online or virtual teaching experience.
• Teaching certificate or formal teacher training.
• Experience creating lesson resources, homework tasks, quizzes and student progress reports.
• Strong academic background in science subjects at O Level / A Level.

Who This Role Is Suitable For:

This role is suitable for a professional teacher or tutor who can work independently from home, has excellent English communication skills, and is confident teaching UK-based students live online.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, organized, patient and able to work UK student hours from Pakistan.

Important Note

This is a full-time professional position with fixed working hours. Due to the required shift pattern and commitment level, this role is not suitable for current full-time students.

Candidates who do not meet the mandatory O Level, A Level and university degree requirements will not be shortlisted.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs93,000.00 per month
