Seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated tutor to work one-on-one with our 7-year-old daughter. If you enjoy working with kids to make learning fun, interactive, and build their confidence, please contact us.

Role

• Build reading, writing, math, and reasoning skills (1st grade/2nd grade level)
• Use playful and hands-on strategies to keep sessions engaging
• Reinforce school skills and boost confidence
• Develop activities tailored to her strengths and growth areas
• Create a supportive and positive environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or related field
• Experience with young children + early literacy/numeracy
• Patient, creative, and enthusiastic teaching style
• Ability to adapt lessons to her interests & learning style

Details

• Summer schedule: 10 hours/week (M-F mornings)
• Post-summer schedule: 8–10 hours/week (M, W, Th, F afternoons + Sat mornings)
• Location: Midtown Palo Alto
• Compensation: $50/hr

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
