Tutors Wanted: CLT, ASVAB, and or WorkKeys

Abacus Mind Math Tutors is building a team of tutors to support high school students preparing for the Classic Learning Test (CLT), ASVAB (AFQT), and WorkKeys assessments. This is a part-time opportunity to work directly with students through a state-approved tutoring initiative, in person or virtually, during the school day.

Tutors will deliver targeted, individualized instruction based on each student's diagnostic results. Sessions focus on content mastery, test-taking strategies, and pacing. You'll work alongside school staff and follow a structured lesson plan aligned to each assessment's content areas.

We're looking for candidates who meet at least two of the following:

• A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in education, English, math, or a related field
• Experience teaching or tutoring high school students, particularly for standardized assessments
• Strong familiarity with the format, content areas, timing, and item types of the CLT, ASVAB, or WorkKeys

All tutors must consent to a background check prior to working with students. Experience with military-related assessments or workforce readiness testing is a plus for ASVAB and WorkKeys roles.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
