Job Summary

Faiz News Network is seeking a confident, articulate, and professional Host to present news-based programs, current affairs shows, interviews, and special broadcasts. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong on-camera presence, and the ability to engage audiences while maintaining the highest standards of journalistic ethics and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Host live and recorded news, current affairs, and talk shows.
• Introduce news segments, special reports, and guests in a clear and engaging manner.
• Conduct interviews with public figures, experts, analysts, and community representatives.
• Research program topics and prepare interview questions in coordination with the editorial team.
• Read scripts and teleprompter content confidently while maintaining natural on-screen delivery.
• Stay updated on local, national, and international current affairs.
• Handle live broadcasts professionally, including breaking news and unexpected situations.
• Coordinate with producers, directors, reporters, and technical teams to ensure smooth program execution.
• Ensure all presented content complies with editorial policies and journalistic ethics.
• Participate in promotional shoots, special events, and network campaigns when required.
• Represent Faiz News Network professionally across television and digital platforms.
• Contribute ideas for new programs, special segments, and audience engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience as a TV Host, News Anchor, Presenter, or Program Host (preferred).
• Fresh candidates with exceptional presentation skills may also apply.

Required Skills

• Excellent Urdu communication skills (English proficiency will be an advantage).
• Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Outstanding interviewing and active listening skills.
• Excellent voice modulation, pronunciation, and diction.
• Confident on-camera personality and professional appearance.
• Strong knowledge of current affairs and news trends.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Critical thinking, adaptability, and quick decision-making during live broadcasts.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with newsroom operations and teleprompter systems is preferred.
