Two Year Old Teacher

University Baptist Church WEE School has an immediate opening looking for a qualified teacher responsible for care in our Two year old classroom Monday thru Friday. Hours are 8:00-3:00 September-May. No summer hours needed. Applicants must be patient, loving and have ability to multitask throughout the day. Strong communication skills required to interact between other staff and families regarding their children's overall daily activities. Have a genuine passion for creating an environment that will help preschoolers grow as Jesus grew; in wisdom and in favor with God and Man.

Duties would be, but are not limited to:

-Caring for 10 children on a daily basis.

-Attend ongoing training set out by Child Care Licensing acquiring 24 clock hours per year.

-Obtain and maintain current CPR/First Aid certifications.

-Prepare age appropriate lessons, incorporate art and preschool science activities and adhere to all Child Care Licensing regulations.

-Maintain updated records and daily reports for each child.

-Follow a daily schedule

-Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Salary: $12.00 per hour/35 hours a week

Education: High School Diploma required. Proof of graduation and/or college transcript required for review by Child Care Licensing.

Experience Needed: Must be 18 years old or older. Must pass background and FBI fingerprint check. Current CPR/First Aid certificate. Previous experience working in a licensed child care center is preferred. All fess required for employment are covered by UBC WEE School.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-3:00 pm. School hours Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. School is in operation September-May, closed June/July/August

Incentives: Paid Holidays. No evening shifts and weekends off. WEE School follows the NISD calendar for holidays and school closures.
