Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support developmental milestones and align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide attentive care and supervision for toddlers in a safe, nurturing environment that encourages exploration and emotional security.
- Foster meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members to build a warm, collaborative learning community.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom that promotes creativity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
- Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and developmental needs to support individualized learning.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents to ensure transparency, trust, and shared goals for each child’s success.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in early childhood education principles, child development, and classroom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building trust and rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
- Passionate about creating joyful, inclusive learning experiences that support the whole child.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and developmental needs.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous growth.
- CPR/First Aid certification and relevant childcare credentials (preferred but not required).
