Responsibilities

The current team’s primary goal is to find strong product-market fit for Belief Market.

At a high level, your responsibilities will include:

• Prototyping proof-of-concept features
• Troubleshooting urgent production issues
• Collecting and incorporating user feedback into future iterations

You will be responsible for rapidly building experimental features while helping stabilize and improve the core system.

Our stack is TypeScript (with a strict type-checking culture) deployed as AWS services. You’ll also own observability (monitoring metrics and alerts in Grafana), troubleshooting incidents, and implementing preventative measures to maintain high availability.

Our ideal candidate

This is a fully remote role; however, we require candidates who work from a stable, permanent location and are not engaged in digital nomad lifestyles, frequent travel, or additional side gigs.

Language Skills

Proficient in English for effective communication, both verbally and in writing. Ability to clearly explain algorithms, code logic, and thought processes verbally and in written format.

Work Approach:

Capable of balancing quick proof-of-concept work with structured refactoring for long-term sustainability and reduced technical debt.

Technical Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience as a professional developer.
• Proficient in Typescript. Familiarity with linting and type-checking tools.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Docker.
• CI/CD Tools: Github Actions, linter setup.
• Familiarity with Cloud providers like AWS
• Experience working directly with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience in system monitoring, emergent bug fixing, and implementing solutions to prevent future failure.
• Nice to have some experience in modern frontend frameworks (e.g React, NextJS) and state management (e.g Zustand, Context API).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs270,000.00 per month
