Tyre Fitter, Mechanic and Wheel alignment technician

West Coast Wheels are currently recruiting an experienced tyre fitter with a mechanical background. The suitable candidate must have a least 2 years experience in the tyre trade and
3+ years experience in mechanical duties up to full vehicle service level preferred. Wages are negotiable depending on experience/competency.

We are seeking a flexible individual who will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be able to multitask and have the ability to move between fitting tyres and carrying out mechanical work on vehicles to demand.

The job will involve answering the telephone and dealing with customers, diary management, calling suppliers and giving quotes to customers, using the computer to order from suppliers, fitting tyres to demand, carrying out 2 wheel laser alignment, fitting brake pads and discs, full vehicle servicing, oil changes, fitting exhausts, some welding work, wheel balancing, puncture repairs, tyre breakdown assistance and other minor vehicle repairs and maintenance.

The job may require moving between Neyland and Narberth workshops depending on staff levels and demand so the flexibility to work in both branches is essential. We offer lift sharing and use of company vehicles when available for commuting between workshops.

A full clean driving licence is essential due to the daily use of our mobile breakdown services.

Our Saturday opening hours are 9am - 12pm.
