UI Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative User Interface (UI) Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping engaging, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. Your expertise will drive the development of user-centered designs that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction. As a key contributor to product development, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into seamless interface solutions that delight users and support strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UI design process for web applications, mobile applications, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring consistency with brand identity and user experience standards.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights on user behaviors and preferences; analyze data from tools like Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, and web analytics platforms to inform design decisions.
• Develop information architecture, user flows, layout designs, and interaction models that optimize navigation and functionality across devices.
• Apply design thinking principles to solve complex problems through innovative visual solutions that incorporate motion graphics, data visualization, and responsive web design techniques.
• Collaborate with front-end developers utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, and RESTful APIs to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective UI solutions aligned with Agile methodologies.
• Support accessibility standards (web accessibility) and usability best practices to create inclusive digital experiences for diverse audiences.
• Conduct A/B testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate design effectiveness and iterate based on feedback.
• Stay current with emerging trends in digital design, UX/UI best practices, and new technologies like AWS cloud services or Unity for interactive experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in front-end development with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, and familiarity with React Express or Redux architecture.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design for web applications and mobile devices; experience designing for e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Axure RP, Balsamiq, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Zeplin, Omnigraffle, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
• Solid understanding of information architecture principles, interaction design patterns, layout design techniques, and responsive web design strategies.
• Experience conducting user research methods such as surveys (Qualtrics), interviews, usability testing (user acceptance testing), and analyzing behavioral data via Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile workflows using Jira or Trello for project management.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG), data visualization techniques using tools like Tableau or Data Studio is a plus.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data insights into actionable design improvements; experience working with SQL databases is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to technical teams and stakeholders; ability to gather requirements effectively through requirements gathering sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus. Pay: $76,794.25 - $92,483.40 per year
