UI Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative UI Designer to join our dynamic product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, user-centered digital interfaces across web and mobile platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences that align with business requirements and design standards. The UI Designer will utilize a range of design tools and methodologies to craft visually appealing, responsive, and accessible interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and drive product success.

Responsibilities

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision to illustrate design concepts and user flows.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive UI solutions.
• Create engaging visual designs incorporating data visualization, motion graphics, and interaction design principles for web applications, mobile applications, and e-commerce platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, analyze user feedback, and iterate on designs to improve overall user experience.
• Ensure designs adhere to web accessibility standards, responsive web design principles, and best practices in UX/UI design patterns.
• Work within Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement processes throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Maintain consistency in visual language by applying design systems, style guides, and information architecture best practices.
• Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to assess user behavior data for informed design decisions.
• Support front-end development teams by providing detailed specifications for HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, RESTful APIs, and other technical requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital design projects.
• Proficiency with design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe XD, InVision, Axure, Zeplin, Balsamiq, Visio, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, Bootstrap, Redux, React Express, WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint; familiarity with APIs is a plus.
• Experience designing for e-commerce platforms and implementing data visualization techniques.
• Strong knowledge of interaction design principles including wireframing, user flows, layout design, information architecture, usability testing (A/B testing), user research methods, and design thinking processes.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics for data analysis skills related to user behavior insights.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile environments using Jira or similar project management tools; experience with Scrum methodologies is preferred.
• Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail in layout design and visual aesthetics across various devices including mobile devices.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive web design best practices.
• Strong communication skills capable of articulating design concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
