UI/User Experience Designer - IV

Clearance: TS/SCI

Location: onsite in Springfield, VA

Position Title: UI / UX Designer (Total Lifecycle Management)

Overall Assignment Description: Provide UI and UX support tasks; ensure consistency in presentation of system functionality and behavior while maintaining conformity with standards and promoting the clients identity and branding.

Duties include:

• Create and manage interface designs and experience for systems and applications for which is directly responsible for developing.
• Work with management and the User Experience Architect to establish the breadth of system requirements and end user needs in using those systems.
• Design and publish graphical standards, templates and resources for system and publication design for products and applications.
• Develop and promote interface and usability standards to developers to establish and encourage consistency in sponsored system interfaces.
• Consult with management and other contractors to review interface designs and provide professional feedback on usability, consistency and the client’s branding.

Required Skills:

• B.S. or B.A. degree, or higher in Arts Management, Fine Arts Administration, or equivalent work experience in graphic arts and usability design.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing user interfaces and user experience standards and designs.
• Demonstrated experience developing and publishing interface designs and supporting implementation of those designs in deployed systems.
• Experience with geospatial systems

Desired Skills:

• Outstanding communications skills and ability to present designs to multiple levels of stakeholders.
• Understanding of the client’s mission and organization structure, and broad knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) intelligence oversight organizations, missions, and organizational priorities.
• Expertise in using MS Office tools for creating and giving design presentations and reviews.
• Ability to coach, guide, and train team members on how to implement user designs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $103,739.43 - $150,000.00 per year
