UI/UX Design Internship

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research & Analysis: Assisting in conducting user research, competitive analysis, andsynthesizing data to inform design decisions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Creating low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, andinteractive prototypes to visualize design solutions.
• User Interface (UI) Design: Designing attractive, consistent, and intuitive user interfaces forweb and mobile applications, adhering to brand guidelines.
• User Experience (UX) Design: Mapping user journeys, creating flow diagrams, and ensuring theoverall user experience is seamless and efficient.
• Design System Maintenance: Contributing to and maintaining our internal design system andcomponent libraries (e.g., in Figma).
• Feedback & Iteration: Participating in design critiques, gathering feedback, and iteratingdesigns based on user testing and business requirements

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science,Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• Portfolio: A strong online portfolio showcasing student projects, case studies, or personal workthat demonstrates an understanding of fundamental UI/UX principles.
• Design Tool Proficiency: Working knowledge and demonstrable skill with industry-standarddesign and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Design Fundamentals: Solid understanding of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, andlayout principles.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and visual communication skills to articulate design conceptsclearly.Preferred Skills (Good-to-Haves)
• Familiarity with Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles and best practices.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better communicatewith developers.
• Experience in conducting user testing sessions and interpreting results.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
