UI/UX Designer — Contract (Remote, Intermediate–Senior)

$80,000–$160,000 annualized equivalent • SaaS Product • Startup MVP • Redesign Projects

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who’s equal parts product thinker and visual craftsman to join us on a contract basis. You’ll be working across new SaaS product features, startup MVP interfaces, and redesigns of existing flows — helping turn raw concepts into polished, accessible user experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Lead wire-framing and high-fidelity design across dashboards, onboarding flows, and feature screens
• Build interactive prototypes in Figma for iteration and stakeholder review
• Redesign existing experiences for clarity, usability, and modern aesthetics
• Ensure WCAG-compliant accessibility across layouts, colors, and components
• Collaborate closely with engineering for clean, realistic design handoffs

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of UI/UX or Product Design experience (SaaS or web applications preferred)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clean visuals and UX depth
• Expert with Figma — components, auto-layout, and prototyping
• Experience designing to accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment

Bonus Points For

• Startup / 0→1 product launch experience
• Familiarity with front-end implementation constraints (React, CSS, etc.)
• Motion or micro-interaction design

Compensation

• $80,000–$160,000 annualized equivalent, depending on experience and contract structure
