This role translates complex law enforcement workflows into intuitive interfaces, produces high-fidelity wireframes in Adobe XD, enforces the UI/UX Style Guide, and validates designs through user testing.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe XD; strong proficiency in complementary tools (Figma, Sketch, Axure) and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven portfolio of responsive, device-agnostic web application designs — wireframes, mockups, prototypes, sitemaps, process flows, and storyboards
  • Demonstrable experience applying and contributing to design systems and component libraries; ability to work within an established style guide
  • Expertise in Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards at the design level: color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader semantics, ARIA patterns, focus states
  • Experience designing data-dense interfaces: dashboards, search results, map-based interactions, record detail pages, multi-step forms, and role-based navigation
  • Experience with map-based UX patterns: geographic search with bounding, interactive card results, layered maps, point and shape layers.
  • Proven experience conducting user research, usability testing, and iterative design based on user feedback.
  • Experience working embedded in Agile SCRUM teams; comfortable producing designs at sprint cadence and presenting to product owners and stakeholders.
