Work Hours: Flexible scheduling (9 AM - 5 PM EST, flexible based on project hours)
UI/UX Designer (3D Interactive Content & Animation Specialist)
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary UI/UX Designer with a strong background in next-generation interactive content, interfaces, and technical animation. This role is crucial for designing and optimizing the user experience for our innovative gaming platform and its AI Mascot.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Advanced 3D Interfaces: Create cutting-edge UI/UX elements for autostereoscopic 3D interactive content (IMAX-style, AR/VR technologies).
Design inspiration must include platforms like Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Xbox, PSP/PS3, with specific attention to the XMB (Cross-Media Bar) interface.
Develop UI elements that extend beyond traditional 2D—including experimentation with extruded, layered, and depth-based designs.
Asset Creation & Visual Effects:
Develop 3D assets and interactive elements using tools like Substance Painter, Blender, or similar.
Create high-quality visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
Focus on technical animation involving fluids and particle effects.
AI Mascot Development: Contribute directly to the visual development and dynamic behavior of the AI Mascot, including work in puppeting (Live 2D and key frame animation).
Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to enhance user interaction, visual immersion, and overall platform functionality.
✅ Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in UI/UX for gaming, AR/VR, or 3D interactive systems.
Expertise in Adobe After Effects, 3D design software (e.g., Blender), and Substance Painter.
Understanding of autostereoscopic or depth-based displays is a strong advantage.
Experience in interface design inspired by PSP/PS3 (XMB), Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and Xbox interfaces.
Ability to blend aesthetics with functionality to deliver intuitive, futuristic user experiences.
Demonstrable skills in technical Animation (fluids and particle effects).
Experience with puppeting techniques (Live 2D and key frame animation).
