UI/UX Designer (Figma) – Web & Mobile SaaS

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly digital experiences across various platforms. You will work closely with product development teams to ensure that our designs not only meet user needs but also align with business objectives. Your expertise in both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design will play a crucial role in enhancing our products.

Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
• Develop responsive web designs that are visually appealing and functional across various devices.
• Implement design patterns and best practices in interaction design, ensuring consistency throughout the product.
• Utilise front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bring designs to life while collaborating with developers on implementation.
• Analyse data visualisation needs and create intuitive dashboards that enhance user interaction with data.
• Maintain an understanding of current trends in digital design, UX methodologies, and emerging technologies such as AWS and APIs.
• Participate in product development cycles using SDLC principles to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Experience

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role within a digital design environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your skills in web design, interaction design, and usability principles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Axure, Balsamiq, Sketch, and Zeplin.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap and libraries such as React or Angular is advantageous.
• Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal is beneficial.
• Solid understanding of information architecture, user acceptance testing (UAT), and requirements gathering processes.
