UI/UX Designer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer Intern to join our design team at Techwens Software Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of design aesthetics, user-centered thinking, and the ability to translate requirements into engaging, intuitive digital experiences.

Note: A portfolio showcasing your design work (academic, freelance, or professional) is mandatory and will be strongly considered during selection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
• Conduct basic user research & usability testing to identify improvements.
• Ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines and deliver consistent experiences.
• Learn and apply best practices in UI/UX design, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Work with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Creativity with attention to detail and visual hierarchy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to balance aesthetics with functionality.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or frontend frameworks.
• Exposure to design systems and responsive design.
• Prior internship or freelance experience in UI/UX design.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing B.Des, B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or equivalent programs.
• Fresh graduates passionate about UI/UX design.
• Must provide a portfolio/website/Behance/Dribbble link with the application.
