Role Overview

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern to assist in creating user-centered designs for web and mobile applications. This internship offers hands-on experience in crafting intuitive interfaces, improving user journeys, and collaborating closely with developers and project managers. Ideal for students or freshers passionate about design, creativity, and enhancing digital user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing intuitive and visually appealing UI layouts for web and mobile applications
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate insights into design improvements
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using modern design and prototyping tools
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Maintain consistency in design systems, typography, and color palettes
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve usability
• Stay updated on emerging design tools, trends, and technologies, and apply them to projects

Skills & Requirements

• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and design thinking process
• Familiarity with current design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or any modern equivalents)
• Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design
• Attention to detail with a good sense of aesthetics, color, and typography
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
• Must have own laptop/system capable of running modern design software efficiently
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end concepts
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
• Understanding of user research methods and usability testing
• Experience with motion design or micro-interactions
• Awareness of accessibility and UX best practices
• Willingness to learn and adopt emerging design tools and technologies
