Salem 247 Security is looking for a Security Guard.

Position Overview:

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment. They are attentive to the needs of all individuals and are dedicated to protecting life, property, and the integrity of the company. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, possess a professional appearance and demeanor, and be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency situations according to established procedures.
• Monitor and secure premises and personnel by standing on post and patrolling building or vehicle.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report any unauthorized entry or exit.
• Maintain accurate logs, record incidents in the incident log, and ensure compliance with regulations regarding security.
• Take detailed notes of incidents observed or occurring in areas other than those described in written form.
• Assist in investigations by obtaining information from witnesses; verifying information obtained; researching unsolved cases; locating witnesses; issuing subpoenas; issuing orders; issuing directions; directing traffic; directing traffic signs; directing traffic by driving routes; directing traffic by using a GPS device; maintaining an up-to-date address by using a postal map; maintaining an up-to-date insurance card by using an electronic card system; maintaining an up-to-date credit report by using an online service; maintaining an up-to-date client's file by using an electronic system.

Skills:
Proven working experience as a security guard or relevant position.

• Thorough knowledge of public safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety procedures and procedures related to security.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with customers at customer stations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overnight shift

• Denton, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
