Unarmed Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, patrolling designated areas, and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security is a plus, along with certifications in first aid and CPR.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential threats
• Respond swiftly to security breaches or emergencies, including medical incidents or conflicts
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
• Enforce property rules and loss prevention measures to minimize theft or vandalism
• Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Conduct security checks on entrances, exits, and sensitive areas

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts and stand for extended periods
• Valid security license or ability to obtain one as required by local regulations
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain confidentiality at all times
