Position Overview

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at a highly public client site. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong focus on both security and hospitality. You will be responsible for conducting routine foot patrols, monitoring for suspicious activity, and providing exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and staff.

Current openings on both the dayshift 2PM-10PM and for Saturday and Sunday 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. Additional Shifts may be available at this location and others in the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional presence and demonstrate readiness at all times.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to clients, guests, and site personnel.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures of TNT Security Solutions and the client.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure security protocols are followed and the facility remains secure.
• Monitor for and escalate any signs of suspicious activity.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and visitors.
• Promptly and accurately report incidents and daily activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including navigating stairs, inclines, and uneven terrain.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Required Qualifications

• Active Level II Texas Guard Card.
• Possess a valid State of Texas Driver's License.
• Clean criminal background check (no felony arrests and misdemeanor arrests in the last 10 years).
• Successful completion of a drug screening.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security officer or guard role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military service and/or law enforcement service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with incident reporting and security technology.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
