Underground Construction Laborer

CONSTRUCTION LABORER

Experienced Underground Construction Laborers.

$20-25 Pay depending on experience levels.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Use hand and powers tools, including shovels, rakes, whacker, and concrete/asphalt saws.

· Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy.

· Must be able to listen and follow direction.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Good critical thinking skills with the ability to observe and assess situations and anticipate issues before they occur.

· Employee may be required to work in environments that may include exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise.

· Keep worksite clean and organized. No unnecessary hazards.

· Assist with loading & unloading equipment and materials.

· Ability to operate equipment skid steer, mini excavator, compactor a plus.

· Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols of the equipment aforementioned a plus.

· Experience working in a mining/industrial environment a plus.

Requirements

· Safety - comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety.

· Flexibility to stay late, when necessary, with little or no notice.

· Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.

· Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens (including marijuana)

· Valid Driver’s License with clean 3-year driving record. (must be insurable)
