Underground Utility Laborer

Responsibilities:

· Operating excavation equipment safely and efficiently.

· Installing Fiber, Coax or Conduit underground. This work is 100% outdoors and usually done in teams of two.

· Job occasionally requires you to be out of town.

· Practice safe work habits to ensure you remain safe and healthy while on the work site.

· Safe practices while driving company vehicles and operating heavy machinery.

· Must be able to lift 70+ pounds and have a flexible schedule.

· Keep a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of basic tools and machinery.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Transportation to and from work.

· Work requires physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the day.

· Must be willing to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

Preferred:

This position requires you to be outdoors nearly 100% of the time. (i.e. landscaping, construction, excavation, etc.) Experience is a Plus! However we are willing to train on job the following (Skid Steer, Excavator, Cable Plow, Aerial Lashing, Directional Drilling and Jetting, and plowing)

Knowledge in excavation equipment, air compressors, generators, landscape watering systems, utility routes, and machine maintenance.

Pay is $20 an hour with opportunity to advance with skill set.
