Underground Utility Operator and Laborer

Dan Hart Patrol Service, LLC is a Wyoming based construction contractor with a long history of serving the oil, gas, personal and mining industries. The business has expanded to include site development and underground utilities for residential, commercial, and municipalities. We install water and sewer service lines and mains as well as sanitary and storm sewer piping with associated inlets and manholes.

We are hiring Laborers/Operators for this project. This position involves general field work including assisting operators, trench work, pipe installation, site cleanup, and other tasks as needed.

Applicants should have a strong history in successfully installing pipelines to grade and passing Hydro tests for ductile iron, PVC, and PE pipe. Must also be knowledgeable with laser beams and shooting line and grade.

Duties/Skills will include:

• Moving materials with an excavator
• Skilled in the operation of various types of heavy equipment such as dozers, motor graders, skidsteers, & loaders
• Experience in operating & general maintenance of heavy equipment
• Understand and interpret site plans and design/set grades to accomplish task off of staking and benchmarks
• Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals and with attention to surroundings
• Assist with laying pipe as needed
• Perform sewer manhole installations, to include proper joint installation and joint wrap and setting and securing a manhole frame and cover.
• Set trench boxes and performs pipe installations. This could involve the use of mechanical tampering equipment or hand tools.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions hot/cold
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations
• Ability to frequently lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Applicants must have reliable transportation to the work sites and must be willing to work full days
• Must be able to travel to different site locations
• Must pass pre-employment & random drug/alcohol screens
• Smart phone/Internet access is required per daily paper work requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
