What You Will Do

• Underwrite broad range of commercial loan types for credit unions across the U.S. We underwrite everything from a $5,000 credit card to a $100 million hotel construction loan. No matter where your interests or expertise lie, you'll find loans you enjoy working on and opportunities to learn something new.
• Analyze borrower, guarantor, and business financial information
• Evaluate tax returns, financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and repayment capacity
• Prepare written credit recommendations and supporting analysis
• Collaborate with experienced underwriters and credit professionals across the organization

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience; business, finance, or accounting preferred
• Five or more years of commercial lending, underwriting, or related experience preferred
• Strong financial statement and tax return analysis skills
• Working knowledge of commercial credit structures and underwriting principles
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work product
