Engrins Insurance is seeking a skilled, analytical Underwriting Manager to lead our underwriting team and drive sound risk assessment practices across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily underwriting operations and ensure efficient processing of insurance applications
• Evaluate risks and determine appropriate coverage, terms, and pricing
• Develop and implement underwriting policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Review complex or high-value cases and provide final approval decisions
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
• Collaborate with sales, claims, and actuarial teams to support business objectives
• Train, mentor, and manage underwriting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of underwriting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, risk assessment, and underwriting principles
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Leadership and team management experience
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the insurance industry
• Proficiency in underwriting systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
