Union Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Union Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring that all work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and project deadlines. You will work closely with other trades and team members to deliver exceptional craftsmanship across various phases of construction, restoration, and remodeling projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced carpenters to showcase their expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while contributing to high-quality building solutions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks.
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision and attention to detail.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively on-site.
• Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and metal stud framing as required for various projects.
• Assist with water damage restoration, remodeling efforts, and general handyman tasks including caulking, painting, and electrical or plumbing repairs.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while heavy lifting or working at heights; maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project schematics are followed accurately and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, carpentry (including trim, frame, metal stud framing), roofing, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, tile laying or flooring installation is highly desirable..
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site.
• Valid certifications in construction safety standards (such as OSHA) are preferred but not mandatory; relevant licensing is advantageous. Pay: $25.89 - $50.00 per hour
