Unit Clerk - Appointments and Transportation

Arroyo Vista Nursing Center is looking for a caring and compassionate Unit Clerk to join our team! This individual will perform concise clerical duties (such as filing, taking phone calls, making photocopies etc.) for the nursing floor and medical records office as needed, and to transcribe details of telephone orders given by physicians. Transportation and making doctors appointments.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone excited to provide exemplary care to our residents!
• This individual will organize, label and file charts and medical records, help transport residents as needed; act as an information resource for patients, families, visitors, physicians, and outside reviewers in person and/or via telephone; complete clerical duties for admissions, discharges, transfers.

• Assist our Social Services arranging Transportation and Appointments

Education/Requirements:

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalency
• Must pass pre-employment back ground check and physical

Job Type: Full-time Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am to 5pm .

Pay: $19.47 - $21.50 per hour
