At Bradford Heights, we’re looking for a Unit Manager who’s passionate about people, organization, and excellence in care. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys motivating others, coordinating operations, and ensuring residents receive the highest quality of service and support every day.

Unit Manager Job Duties:

  • Oversee the daily operations of your assigned unit to ensure a smooth, efficient, and caring environment.

  • Lead, mentor, and support team members — including nurses, CNAs, and support staff — to deliver exceptional resident care.

  • Monitor workflow, staffing, and scheduling to maintain quality standards and meet facility guidelines.

  • Collaborate closely with department heads to address resident needs, resolve issues, and promote continuous improvement.

  • Conduct rounds to ensure staff engagement, adherence to care plans, and compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Support performance management efforts by providing feedback, coaching, and recognition.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to foster trust and satisfaction.

  • Participate in care plan meetings and help coordinate interdisciplinary efforts to ensure holistic resident care.

  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members to uphold Bradford Heights’ standards of excellence.

Unit Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care leadership role preferred.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a busy care environment.

  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and documentation processes (knowledge of MatrixCare a plus).

  • Compassionate, team-focused mindset and a drive to make a difference.
