Unitized Curtainwall Facade Designer

HRSG is hiring a Unitized Curtainwall Façade Designer who can design and develop façade systems for commercial and high-rise buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design unitized curtainwall systems (mullions, transoms, glazing, brackets, anchors).
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication documents.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to meet project requirements.
• Review structural calculations (wind load, seismic, thermal performance, etc.).
• Ensure all designs follow international standards (AAMA, ASTM, ASCE).
• Solve design or fabrication issues during the project.
• Maintain and update design standards and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of façade design experience, specifically with unitized curtainwall systems.
• Strong understanding of façade design, fabrication, and installation.
• Skilled in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla, or Rhino.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with BIM in façade design.
• Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient façade systems.
• Certifications (e.g., CWG, LEED AP).
• Familiarity with structural analysis tools (e.g., SAP, GSA).
