Unity C# Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Unity C# Developer with backend development expertise to join our team on a Fixed-Term Contract (FTC). The role involves building and maintaining scalable backend services to power our Unity-based applications and games. The ideal candidate should be proficient in C#, API development, and database management, with experience integrating backend systems into Unity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for Unity applications using C#/.NET.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs with Unity clients.
• Manage and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Implement multiplayer features, authentication, leaderboards, and in-game economy systems.
• Collaborate with Unity front-end developers, designers, and QA teams.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues to support live operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in backend development using C#/.NET.
• Strong understanding of Unity integration with backend services.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).
• Familiarity with networking frameworks (Photon, Mirror, Netcode) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deployment.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lahore Johar Town: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
